My name is Emma Gomes. I came up with the name "burning words" when I was explaining to my dad that when I write I feel like I'm getting my thoughts out of my mind and burning them onto paper to just put them in a place permanently. This has what this blog has turned into: me burning my words. I was born and raised in the breathtaking state of Oregon. I have been writing ever since I learned how to hold a pencil, and that pencil has kept up with my mind whenever and wherever it decides to go!
